Rio Conventions Pavilion at UN Conference on Sustainable Development
Rio +20 Earth Summit
Pavilion Partners will be extending the momentum of the past four collaborative initiatives to the UN Conference on Sustainable Development (Rio +20 Earth Summit). This special edition of the Pavilion will be held at the margins of the PrepCom III and Rio+20 Conference, from 13 – 22 June 2012. The programme will highlight cross-cutting global issues relevant to the three Rio Conventions, including thematic clusters addressing:

Venue
Athlete’s Park (Avenue side, about a 5-minute walk from the main conference venue at RioCentro)
Some notes regarding transport to the Pavilion:
Please allow plenty of time to get to the park, due to high volume of traffic.
The bus shuttle stop is at the exit of the Accreditation Pavilion (Pavilion #1, the only entry/access point to RioCentro). The shuttle is a black bus from MAN (Volkswagen). There is a sign on the window which reads ‘Riocentro, Parco Atletico and Autodromo’. This shuttle takes between 10 -20 minutes. If in doubt, please ask volunteers who will point you to the stop. Another option is taking the public bus 613 outside on the street. Upon entry to the Athlete’s Park (note the separate entrance for those accredited to the Rio+20 conference), you will see a large map – the Rio Conventions Pavilion is located close to Pavilion A, walk to the right side of the Park.
