Restoring Balance with Nature: Dialogue on Youth Contributions to the implementation of the three Rio Conventions
Friday, 5 November 2021,
11:00 - 12:30 UK time (UTC, Please Note DST end on 31 Oct)
As humanity is dealing with escalating and connected crises of climate change and extinction undermining the very foundation of life on our planet, there are increasing calls to address them together. Restoring balance with nature will require profound changes in our energy, economic and food systems, which were postponed for too long. Now young generations are faced with difficult choices.
The event aims to highlight the importance of youth action in the implementation of the Rio Conventions, increased synergies among them, interconnected challenges and common solutions. Representatives of youth constituencies working under the Rio Conventions, and collaborating partners, will discuss these issues in an interactive manner and invite audience to share their experiences.
